Aluminium Recycled
Each tonne of aluminium ingot manufactured via the secondary route emits 290 kilogrammes of CO2, vs 3830 kg of CO2 when manufactured via the primary route.
In comparison, the total power necessary to produce 1 tonne of recycled aluminium is just 5-7 percent of the total power required to produce primary aluminium.
